Making processes reliable

Created in 2014 by Stéphane Campo in Grenoble, STEP UP is an engineering company whose development is based on three areas of expertise:

  • industrial engineering,
  • process engineering,
  • IT engineering.

The group now has 11 agencies across France (one every year! ) and 250 employees. It is in this context of strong growth that STEP UP decided in 2023 to acquire a centralized solution adapted to their business challenges. The group needs to structure itself, to make its processes more reliable, and to gain in productivity.

A solution to animate your candidate base

Before adopting Boond, HR teams used an ATS. Recruiters then encountered difficulties in gaining height on their candidate base, as they could not easily sort them and carry out extensive research. Consequence: the candidate pool was poorly exploited, causing a real loss of added value.

With Boond, STEP UP quickly observed several benefits:

  • HR and sales teams work on a common basis : the information is entered only once and is accessible to everyone. Everyone saves time and the exchange of information is facilitated.
  • The candidate database is now easy to query: teams easily find each profile, especially thanks to Boolean searches.
  • Announcements published via Boond make it possible to feed and qualify the candidate base more quickly and efficiently., thus reducing the need to source for every need.
  • The candidate data is then reused directly in Boond when the recruitment is validated. and allow HR contracts to be generated in one click thanks to our integrated DocTemplates application, thus speeding up the HR process (goodbye Excel files to track employee data!).

As data is now centralized on Boond, recruiters have access to customer needs and can coordinate with sales representatives to write offers directly on Boond and then distribute them in a few clicks on all employment platforms.

Better collaboration between HR and sales teams

The Step Up group is also observing new working dynamics within teams:

  • Everyone has access to the same information, regardless of the group's agency. Teams communicate more easily with each other around candidates, and quickly share the right data at the right time, thanks to file sharing, or discussion threads.
  • Databases are no longer siloed : if a candidate is positioned on a need by a salesperson, the recruiter is immediately informed. If a recruiter identifies a relevant profile, they can share it directly with the salesperson. Everyone knows exactly where each recruitment process and each customer need is.

Step Up now has an overview of its activity: from the entry of a new need, to recruitment, to the invoicing of a project. Boond mobilizes all teams around a real common thread on a daily basis.

Boond is particularly practical when it comes to follow-up meetings. We always conduct them in pairs with managers, and having everyone view the candidate profile with all their information and the notes I’ve added really makes discussions much easier.
