Meet the Boonders

A remote culture… closer than ever

At Boond, company culture is not just a concept.

As pioneers, we chose 100% remote work from our very beginning in 2009, at a time when this model was still rare. More than fifteen years later, we continue to prove that a company can grow and excel thanks to it.

Our culture evolves just like our product: through experimentation, feedback, and the desire to move forward together. We value autonomy without isolation, rigor without rigidity, and above all, the pleasure of working with passionate and caring people.

To create strong connections despite the distance, we’ve invented our own rituals: virtual coffees, sports, yoga, virtual snacks, meditation… always optional, never mandatory. And three times a year, we meet “in real life” for memorable seminars.

Over the years, our humor and creativity have shaped a universe that is uniquely ours: BoondRadio, internal podcasts, an Advent calendar, BoondAwards, BoondFlix… not to mention our anthem and even our own in-house band.

All of this isn’t a bonus.
It’s what brings our team together and drives us to keep creating and going further—together.

Seminars

Three seminars a year to reconnect, build strong bonds, laugh, brainstorm, and live the Boond adventure together. Without them, Boond simply wouldn’t be Boond.

BoondRadio

Every Wednesday morning, the BoondRadio team broadcasts a special update. On the agenda: a recap of Boonders’ news and key company moments, sprinkled with anecdotes and a generous dose of good vibes.

BoondCoffee

Every Thursday morning, we randomly invite two Boonders from different teams to share a virtual coffee and connect… differently.

BoondSnack

Fans of Skribbl or Among Us, you’re in the right place! Biscuits and tea ready—Wednesday afternoons are game and snack time at 5 PM.

Product Coffee

Every Wednesday from 5 to 6 PM, we talk product with complete transparency. The goal? Share the upcoming roadmap, answer your questions, and create a true exchange around the Boond product vision.

BoondFitness

Every Wednesday from 12:15 to 1 PM, it’s abs, core training, cardio, and squats with our coach Joris.

BoondYoga

Every Thursday from 12:15 to 1 PM, Michelle gently takes care of both body and mind. The perfect moment to release tension and reset.

BoondMeditation

On Wednesday and Friday mornings, Christophe invites us to start the day calmly with a shared meditation session. Zen and mindfulness guaranteed.

All Boonders

On the first Friday of every month at 4 PM, the entire team comes together to review ongoing work and company life. A shared moment, always in great spirits.

Pre-boarding

Boond welcomes you even before your first day.

From the moment you sign, we carefully and enthusiastically prepare your arrival:

  • Your portrait shared with the team to start getting to know each other.
  • Invitation to our next seminar (or a virtual coffee with the team).
  • Administrative preparation (D-21).
  • Broadcast of your voice message on BoondRadio (D-7 & D-3).
  • Day one: everyone is ready to welcome you!

Onboarding

Welcome to the Boond universe.

Your onboarding is more than a process - it’s an experience. Our 3 commitments:

  • Delivering on the promises made during the interview process.
  • Training you on our solution, market, and culture.
  • Helping you integrate quickly so you can start contributing with confidence.

Key moments:

  • Meetings with all teams (Sales, Product, Tech, etc.).
  • Discovery of our solution through the BoondGame.
  • Market immersion with “A day in my life” sessions (demos, training, etc.).
  • Strategic discussion with Thomas, our CEO.
  • Discovery of the BoondMap (who lives near you?).
  • Immersion in our BoondRituals (internal events).

Buddy system

A peer to support your integration.

From day one, you are supported by your buddy:

  • They help you settle in at your own pace, without pressure.
  • They introduce you to life at Boond: BoondCafé, BoondRadio, sports, meditation…
  • They are not your manager, but a peer you can turn to with any question or share how you’re feeling.

Onboarding follow-up

Your feedback matters at every step.
  • Regular check-ins with HR and your manager.
  • A shared feedback report after 3 months.
  • An onboarding process in constant evolution (and award-winning 🏆 in 2023!).
