Founded in 2007 by Alexandre METULESCO, Arthus Technologies built its expertise from the outset by working as a Tier 2 partner for major engineering and IT consulting players. Its mission: to complement its partners’ offerings by handling needs for which they do not have the appropriate profiles. Today, the company has around thirty employees. After working exclusively with two of the largest French IT services and consulting companies until 2012, Arthus Technologies now collaborates with more than twenty companies, ranging from market leaders to more agile structures.

An exclusive Tier 2 model

This commercial strategy is directly rooted in the founder’s background. As a manager within a very large IT services and consulting company, Alexandre quickly identified an opportunity: many client requests were not being addressed—not due to a lack of interest, but because they fell outside the HR scope or core expertise of these large groups. Convinced there was real value to be created, he founded Arthus to address these complementary needs precisely.

Since then, this Tier 2 strategy has become a true business model. It allows Arthus to be naturally called upon by other consulting firms, without the need for a large sales force, while gaining access to demanding industrial markets where direct vendor approval is complex. This operating model promotes fair margins between those who bring the opportunity and those who provide the consultant, while eliminating the uncertainties linked to sales turnover.

Structuring to grow: the key role of Boond.

Boond entered the story of Arthus Technologies in 2012, at a pivotal moment, as the company decided to expand beyond its two historical partners and structure its growth.

Until then, everything relied on a very manual way of working:

  • A massive Excel spreadsheet for candidates,
  • A CRM file reduced to… two client entries,
  • Another Excel file for invoices,

… and no real backbone for internal processes. The result: daily work filled with manual checks, corrections, reminders not to forget things, and constant mental load.

The arrival of Boond marked a turning point. By replacing these scattered files and structuring information (CRM, candidates, consultants, needs, clients…), the tool immediately brought coherence and comfort. Candidate tracking, HR management, and client relationship processes were clarified, standardized, and made more reliable. Arthus was then able to approach its growth with confidence, fully in control of its data.

This decision came at a time when the company was entering a new phase: accelerating, diversifying its client portfolio, and professionalizing its methods without adding organizational complexity. A necessary step to present itself to new partners with well-managed processes and clean data—an essential prerequisite as volumes increase.

And the impact was immediate: in the weeks following the implementation of Boond, the business literally took off. Beyond process structuring, the tool delivered a tangible time saving—2 to 3 hours saved each week—reinvested in business development and client relationships.

Behind the scenes of a Quality audit at one of the largest French IT services and consulting companies

The audit takes place at Arthus Technologies’ offices, with two auditors present, over a full day. Upstream, a very detailed question framework is sent to Arthus Technologies. The morning is dedicated to the presentation prepared by Alexandre, followed by questions from the auditors.

After a shared lunch, the audit resumes with a few additional questions. In the middle of the afternoon, the auditors ask to work together to finalize their analysis. Their internal debrief lasts around two hours, during which Alexandre leaves the room before being invited back in for the final feedback session.

During the Quality audit, my presentation included many screenshots from Boond, as the solution was at the core of my answers. I could even run live demonstrations: ‘Ask me anything, and I’ll show it to you.’ It was naturally very reassuring for the auditors.

The evaluation criteria and Boond’s role

The audit was based on a quality criteria framework covering several areas: recruitment, HR, and business, complemented by elements related to the resources deployed to work with the partner, ranging from process maturity to information security.

Boond played a decisive role across each of these dimensions by bringing structure, traceability, and operational quality.

Recruitment quality: leveraging the candidate pool

Boond made it possible to demonstrate precise and methodical talent management:

  • Advanced granularity within the candidate database, enabling faster and higher-quality sourcing.
  • Accurate use of the talent pool to instantly identify the profile that matches a specific need.
  • Clear and up-to-date visibility of each candidate.
  • Real-time visualization of each talent’s progress for every opportunity.

HR function: probation tracking and onboarding

Boond strengthened the reliability of HR processes through:

  • Automatic alerts for probation periods.
  • Comprehensive tracking of the onboarding journey.
  • A centralized view of HR data, reducing omissions and the risk of errors.

Business management: detailed sales cycle tracking

Boond enables Arthus Technologies to track every opportunity with a high level of precision:

  • Custom opportunity statuses aligned with the company’s processes (CV sent, interview scheduled, interview completed, meeting, etc.).
  • Granular tracking of each step, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
  • A Kanban view providing an instant snapshot of sales activity.

Resources and skills: using a unified system

This area aimed to assess Arthus Technologies’ ability to work in a structured way with its partner. Alexandre highlighted that:

  • The entire internal system is structured around Boond for all teams (HR, sales, recruitment), fostering stronger collaboration.
  • Each new employee can follow the full business process directly within the tool.
  • Rapid adoption by teams ensures precise and consistent execution of processes.

Another point that strongly resonated with the auditors: Boond is not only a guarantee of internal quality, but also a source of reassurance for candidates and new hires. When Arthus Technologies mentions the tool during interviews, many candidates explain that they have already used it in a previous company, which immediately strengthens the company’s credibility. Despite its size, Arthus demonstrates that it is well organized, equipped with a recognized industry tool, and capable of offering a clear and structured framework from onboarding onward.

Boond follows our business processes to the letter, with no risk of skipping steps or misinterpreting workflows. There’s almost a gamification effect: each status is associated with a color, making it very clear what needs to be done to ‘turn green’. That’s actually what I tell my teams at the end of the week: ‘we want to see green!

Information security

Information security was a critical focus for the auditing partner, and Boond enabled Arthus Technologies to provide strong guarantees:

  • Centralized data hosted in Europe.
  • Fine-grained access rights management to compartmentalize information.
  • The ability to immediately revoke user access in case of an issue.
  • ISO 27001 certification, a key element in reassuring both auditors and clients.

Conclusion of the Quality audit: the highest score ever achieved by a small organization

After a full day of discussions, the auditors deliver their feedback live. The evaluation scale ranges from A to D, with an A rating usually reserved for large organizations. The auditors deliberately keep the suspense until the very end… before announcing the result: Arthus Technologies is awarded an A rating.

An outcome described as exceptional for a company of this size. The partner’s team even contacted their procurement buyer to congratulate them, who in turn called Alexandre to praise the achievement. A moment experienced as a true recognition of the work accomplished.

The auditors also emphasized that the processes presented were robust and structured enough for Arthus Technologies to aim for ISO 9001 certification. A step that would formally validate the quality demonstrated during this audit and further strengthen the company’s credibility with its partners.

Arthus outlook: growth supported by the Boond community

Despite a context marked by successive crises—often impacting Tier 2 players first—Arthus Technologies is actively preparing its next phase of development. Expanding its partner network will naturally strengthen its business volume and increase the number of consultants engaged. The company is also targeting new certifications, particularly in the defense sector, to address more demanding needs and access higher value-added opportunities.
