Who is United Solutions?

United Solutions is a consulting firm that supports clients throughout every stage of their IT projects.
Our commitment? Putting digital transformation at the service of ecological transition.

Across each of our technical practices—Software Engineering & Development, Infrastructure, and Security—our IT experts aim to deliver high-level technical expertise while actively reducing our collective carbon footprint.

When United Solutions was founded in 2020, I had already spent 10 years working in the consulting firm market as a sales team manager. However, I had growing frustrations.
In fast-growing organizations, consultants on assignment can sometimes feel overlooked. I wanted to return to a human-sized project, where authentic relationships are part of everyday life.

The United Solutions business plan was written during the lockdown.
That pivotal period only strengthened our desire to create a company with real social and environmental impact.

We chose the name “United” to reflect our ambition to be united around a shared set of values: technical expertise combined with strong social values.

We wanted to implement concrete actions that truly resonate with our teams:

  • First, leading by example: with my partner Nicolas, we dedicate time to mentoring programs supporting the reintegration of people returning to the job market.
  • We also donate €5 per worked day, per employee, into a fund that each consultant can use to support an environmental project they personally care about.

Generating profit is important.
But knowing that profit can have a positive impact on society is even more meaningful. That’s what truly speaks to people. That’s what gives work purpose.

To date, we’ve won 60 projects in under three years and plan to recruit 20 new employees in 2024, both internally (management, sales) and on client projects.

We want to maintain an “artisan” positioning, offering tailor-made assignments—and above all, to wake up every morning happy to go to work.

Why did you choose BoondManager at United Solutions?

When it came time to choose a tool—even before officially founding the company—I knew exactly what I didn’t want to repeat from past experiences:

  • Multiple disconnected tools
  • No single system uniting recruitment and sales
  • Generic CRMs poorly suited to the realities of consulting firms

Before even registering United Solutions, I made three fundamental decisions:

  1. Find a business partner with deeply rooted values and a shared long-term vision
    (Nicolas Lacazedieu and I have been friends for 18 years)
  2. Bring Lucas Stievenard into the adventure—he started as an apprentice and is now a full-time Sales Manager
  3. Choose BoondManager from day one

When I attended Sabrina’s demo at the time, I immediately understood that BoondManager could manage everything from A to Z.
She truly listened to our challenges and adapted the solution to our launch context.

I was instantly convinced. BoondManager felt tailor-made for the way we operate.

I remember thinking:
“They’re friendly, they’ll train us properly, pricing is right—there’s no need to look elsewhere. I already have everything I need.” 😉

BoondManager was also strongly recommended to me by LR Technologies, which reinforced my choice.

What are your favorite features?

BoondManager is a tool I can rely on daily to easily access key strategic data for steering the business.

All features matter, but reporting and dashboards have been a real revolution.
Before, I couldn’t quantify work or track performance nearly as effectively.

The entire lifecycle is essential:

  • Finding a candidate
  • Positioning them on a requirement
  • Creating a project
  • And going all the way through to invoicing

We also really value the ability to follow the product roadmap and submit improvement ideas.

Timesheet (CRA) approval has genuinely simplified my life.
When I think back to the days of printing, scanning, and emailing them—it feels like another era.

We’re also very appreciative of the regular enrichment of partner apps, such as Universign, for example.

How did onboarding go at United Solutions?

We were trained by Deborah and Sabrina, but BoondManager is extremely intuitive.
When we onboard new employees, training is very fast.

The entire learning journey is thoughtfully designed—webinars, tutorials, training sessions—to the point where you rarely need to contact support. Very smart 😉

Tutorials are well structured; you almost always find the answer you’re looking for.
The roadmap clearly shows new features released every two months, and webinars are frequent and varied.

And when I do need support?
In under four minutes, my issue is resolved.

After one year, we even benefited from a customer experience audit led by Cyril, who wanted to assess our satisfaction and help us improve.
He shared many valuable insights—and didn’t try to sell us anything 😉
We really appreciated the approach.

Have you seen productivity gains?

Absolutely—BoondManager has saved me a lot of time, without question.

By eliminating time-consuming, low-value tasks, I’m now able to finish my days earlier and spend more time with my children.
And that’s priceless.

Productivity gains are real—but more importantly, they translate into a better quality of life.
