Can you introduce theTribe?

In a few words, theTribe is a web & mobile application design and development studio.
We now have more than 100 employees, based in Nantes, Paris, Lille, and working fully remote.

Our passion is supporting project leadersStartups, Scale-ups, SMEs, and mid-sized companies — to innovate and turn their vision into impactful digital products that truly matter to end users.

To successfully build a product — and avoid the mistakes many others make — we strongly believe in three key principles:

  • Working in agility, co-building with our clients’ teams to create truly innovative products

Why did you choose to use BoondManager?

Quite simply, to escape the chaos of Excel files and Google Calendar!

That setup worked well when we were around 20 people, but as we grew, it quickly became unmanageable and error-prone.

We were therefore looking for a simple and intuitive tool to manage timesheets and leave requests, and more broadly to streamline our operational management.

BoondManager checked all the boxes.

What do you value most in terms of features?

  • The Activity & Expenses module, which makes it easy to manage timesheets, absences, and expense reports
  • The ability to manage and track all our projects within a single tool, and to invoice clients directly based on timesheets
  • Reporting features that allow us to closely monitor and pilot our activity

Have you noticed productivity gains?

Absolutely.
There is a clear time saving and far fewer errors, as everything is automated.

Thanks to BoondManager, the administrative team has also been able to delegate certain tasks to other teams, significantly increasing both productivity and autonomy within project teams.

What are your relationships like with the Boond teams?

Excellent!
From the first contact with Gauthier, to onboarding with Cyril, through discussions with Caroline about remote work practices, and ongoing support for our questions — the Boonders are extremely available, efficient, and caring.

We particularly appreciate the fact that every Boonder regularly takes part in support activities. This keeps them close to customers, deeply connected to the product, and ensures they continuously understand our needs and integrate our feedback into future developments.

How was your onboarding experience?

Unmatched in terms of efficiency!

We first got in touch with Gauthier from the Sales team on a Friday — and signed one week later.

In just one week:

  • He organized three tailored demos, including one with multiple members of our team
  • Every question was answered with a concrete solution
  • The quote was ready within one hour
  • Everything was electronically signed the next day

This was ultra-efficient, especially compared to other tools that took weeks just to send a quote after demos.

One week later, we held a kick-off workshop with Cyril for configuration, data migration, and team training.

In total, less than one month passed between first contact and full adoption of BoondManager by all members of theTribe.

A fast, high-quality onboarding, resulting in very satisfied users.
