Can you introduce The Hive Company?

The Hive Company is a consulting and engineering firm founded in 2019 by Léa Giglio and Nabil Hayoune. Today, we are more than 75 “bees” working within the Hive.

We support 17 major French and international key accounts and operate mainly in the south of France, with additional activities in the Paris region and Savoie.

Our core business is to help our clients address strategic challenges related to digital transformation. We rely on an agile way of working, enabling us to adapt to an ever-changing environment while fostering both personal and professional fulfillment.

Why did you choose BoondManager at The Hive Company?

Choosing BoondManager came at a pivotal moment for the company. The number of consultants on assignment was growing rapidly, and we were reaching the limits of our homegrown management tools.

Our requirements were very clear: the tool had to cover everything end to end—from business development to back-office operations—and above all, it had to be user-oriented, to ensure strong adoption by all our “bees”.

We conducted a market study of existing solutions, shortlisted three of them, and BoondManager clearly stood out as our preferred choice.

What was your onboarding experience like?

We were extremely well supported by Sarah and Mathias.
Gauthier also did an excellent job by setting up a test environment where we could explore and experiment freely 🙂

Sarah is our dedicated BoondCoach, and Mathias supported us on specific topics. Everything went very smoothly.

One of the strengths of BoondManager is that once you understand how it works, there isn’t a single rigid way of doing things. There are multiple paths to reach the same outcome.

Within one month, we were fully operational on the back-office side. We then progressively rolled out the tool for sales activities, followed by recruitment.

What are your favorite features?

  • Invoicing: instant access to production data. It’s clear, well-designed, and represents an incredible time saver compared to our previous system.
  • Reporting: a global, real-time view of the company through both administrative and business KPIs.
  • Employee follow-up: extremely useful, especially with task lists for onboarding—everyone checks off their tasks and we always know where we stand.
  • Emailing: our favorite app—it truly simplifies our daily work.
  • Mobile app: widely used by our consultants for time, expenses, and leave management; it was a key selection criterion for us.
  • Video tutorials: very helpful for onboarding and continuous learning.

Internally, we’ve fully adopted BoondManager’s vocabulary—we’ve adapted to Boond just as much as Boond has adapted to us.

Have you seen productivity gains?

Since switching to BoondManager, we have welcomed many new “bees”, and without BoondManager, we would never have been able to manage such growth.

How is your relationship with the Boond team?

When we have a problem, Sarah always has the solution!
As we like to tell her: “You’re a saint” 😉

The same goes for Déborah, who supported us masterfully on a payroll-related project.

We are specialists in unusual requests, yet the Boond team is always there to help and find solutions.

Have you recommended BoondManager?

Yes, absolutely. We regularly share our satisfaction within our network and also work with partners who already use BoondManager 🙂
