nextSourcia is a consulting firm specializing in IT systems optimization and e-commerce solutions. The company was founded in 2006 by Vincent David.
We support our clients in their IT management and digital transformation projects, offering a comprehensive range of services to help them evolve their infrastructures toward private or hybrid cloud environments. nextSourcia is also highly specialized in e-commerce solution design. As part of this expertise, we developed an open-source, JavaScript-based, API-first e-commerce CMS: Aquila CMS.
Building on these two areas of expertise, we support our clients on the services side, either through time-and-material contracts or fixed-price projects.
Today, we are a team of around 30 employees. I joined the company in 2021 with the objective of structuring the services business, optimizing the business model, implementing the right tools and processes, recruiting strong sales and HR teams, and developing new partnerships.
We are planning to open two new offices in 2022, in Toulouse and the Île-de-France region, and we also intend to expand internationally (Malaysia) in the second half of the year.
At nextSourcia, our goal was to structure the company and implement the tools and processes that drive the success of large consulting firms. I had conducted extensive market research and identified BoondManager as the benchmark ERP for consulting firms.
I naturally suggested to Vincent that we request a demo to see whether the tool could truly meet our needs. I was already very familiar with both the solution and the industry, so I had a lot of questions 😉
After a 2.5-hour demo, during which Gauthier took the time to walk us through every aspect of the platform and answer all our questions, we were fully convinced.
At the same time, I reviewed other industry-specific ERPs on the market, but the decision quickly—and unanimously—tilted in favor of BoondManager. The choice was clear and unquestionable in terms of pricing and functional coverage.
Quite a lot, actually.
The ability to have clear visibility across the entire candidate pipeline, to easily search previously identified candidates, to track the progress of client requirements, to keep a full history of client interactions, to monitor consultant assignments, timesheets, and more—all within a single tool that covers all our needs.
We particularly appreciate the fact that Boond is constantly evolving and actively listens to customer feedback. Every two months, it honestly feels like Christmas! As soon as I see the WalkMe pop-up announcing new features, I go through every single line like a child in front of the Christmas tree 😉
Being able to freely suggest improvements—and, more importantly, to actually be heard—is critical. For a tool that has been around for over 10 years, the ability to keep questioning itself and evolving is a real competitive advantage.
Absolutely. As the company grows, the collaborative features of BoondManager clearly save us time. Having a clear and centralized view of our needs, candidates, and ongoing activities is an obvious productivity booster.
It also helps us avoid missed opportunities and significantly reduce the risk of errors, which is extremely valuable from an operational standpoint.
We would like some enhancements around consultant profiles (skills dossiers):
Another point: we have integrated Boond with Outlook, and when creating a Teams meeting, it sometimes generates duplicate actions and email invitations.
Finally, we are very much looking forward to future improvements on the mobile app, especially around candidate management.
Gauthier, whom we first met during the demo phase, was great. In practice, we rarely contact generic support—we go straight to our favorite BoondCoach: Paola. Once you’ve worked with Pao, you only want to work with Pao 😉
She can be forgiven for anything—if she’s on vacation, we just wait for her!
So yes, our relationship with the Boond team is excellent, and we’re genuinely delighted.
Yes, we have recommended BoondManager to another consulting firm, which has since adopted it—and they are very satisfied as well.
We achieved 50% growth at the end of last year—let’s hope it continues! 🙂
