Can you introduce Aprico Consultants?

Aprico Consultants is a consulting firm based in Zaventem, Belgium.
We employ over 100 consultants and operate primarily in Belgium, as well as internationally—particularly through our presence in Tunisia.

In terms of assignments, we cover the full scope of consulting services: from staff augmentation (placing consultants or full teams with clients) to end-to-end project delivery and ongoing support.

Our services span:

  • IT strategy
  • Digital transformation
  • Business process optimization

We position ourselves across all IT-related and digital consulting roles.

Our clients come from a wide range of industries: energy, banking, public services, and more.

And this year, Aprico Consultants celebrates its 25th anniversary!

Why did you choose BoondManager?

It’s a story that unfolded in several stages.

Our initial goal was to replace an internal tool developed when the company was founded, which had become obsolete and unable to keep pace with modern technologies.

At the same time, Aprico Consultants was experiencing strong growth, making it essential to equip the company with more robust management tools.

A few years ago, we launched a market benchmark. At first, we identified platforms that were not truly designed for consulting firms.
We couldn’t find our vocabulary, our processes, or our way of working. In short, tools that needed to be “bent out of shape” before they could even be used.

Somewhat discouraged, we paused our search—then resumed it later to better support our continued growth.

On the French market, we eventually found several ERPs dedicated to our business, offering all the required features.
What ultimately made us choose BoondManager over the others was its intuitive, clean, practical, and user-friendly design.

BoondManager’s logic mirrors our business logic.
It also perfectly meets the needs of a consulting firm of our size.

Another key requirement for us was having an ERP available via a mobile application.
Our consultants on assignment can access everything they need directly from their smartphones.

What are your favorite features at Aprico Consultants?

We initially started with the functionalities already covered by our previous system:

  • Time, expense, and absence management
  • Project management
  • Assignment management
  • Invoicing

We are now expanding usage to the sales department, including:

  • CRM
  • Pre-sales
  • Opportunity management
  • Requirements management
  • Candidate positioning

Going forward, our goal is to centralize all our data within BoondManager.

We’ve also integrated JobPosting, which complements this setup by automating job postings and candidate creation.

BoondManager is simple and clear, yet it can also be an extremely powerful tool when used to its full potential.

Have you seen productivity gains since moving to BoondManager?

Absolutely.

Thanks to BoondManager, we now work in a simpler, cleaner, and more structured way.
Invoices are generated directly from time tracking, all data is centralized, and processes are clearly framed—while still leaving us enough flexibility.

As a result, our organization is more efficient and more fluid.
Boond has significantly helped us simplify our processes, and many features now make our daily work much easier.

How would you describe your relationship with the Boond teams?

We really appreciate how open the Boond teams are to continuous improvement suggestions, including those specific to the Belgian market.

We’ve shared our feedback with Deborah, our BoondCoach, who supports us throughout the journey.

From the very beginning, Deborah listened carefully and adapted to our pace and needs.
For both sides, the project has been a real success.

We continue to grow our expertise day by day to save even more time, and it’s reassuring to know we can reach out whenever needed.
Responses are always fast and helpful, regardless of the question.

How did onboarding go?

We promoted BoondManager internally through several email communications, followed by custom onboarding sessions rolled out in waves, led by internal ambassadors.

We also attended the pre-sales webinar, which was extremely helpful—especially to discover best practices like using action and email templates.

I really appreciate having multiple learning formats to build skills, not just video-based content.

Have you recommended BoondManager at Aprico Consultants?

Yes, I gladly recommend it whenever I speak with peers in the industry.

Of course!
